Setting your min/max prices on Amazon
Set a wide seller-allowed min/max on Amazon so listings aren't flagged for pricing errors, and let Flashpricer's own min/max do the precise repricing — Flashpricer never prices a SKU outside your limits.
Amazon has its own price guardrail — a minimum and maximum "seller-allowed" price it uses to flag or suppress listings. Setting that guardrail wide, and letting Flashpricer's own min/max do the precise work, keeps your listings live while repricing freely inside your real limits.
Two different min/max — and why it matters
There are two min/max at play, and they do different jobs:
Seller-allowed price
Amazon's own minimum-seller-allowed-price / maximum-seller-allowed-price. If your price falls outside it, Amazon may flag a pricing error and temporarily remove the listing.
Your min / max
The precise floor and ceiling your repricer actually respects. Flashpricer guarantees it never prices a SKU outside this band.
The trick: make Amazon's guardrail generous so it never conflicts with a valid Flashpricer price, and keep Flashpricer's min/max tight so your prices stay exactly where you want them.
Flashpricer never prices outside your limits. Every price it pushes is clamped into your Flashpricer min/max — so a wide Amazon guardrail (like $0.01–$1000) is completely safe and won't let anything slip through. (The one exception is a MAP, which can raise the floor.)
Set the guardrail in Seller Central
You set Amazon's seller-allowed prices with a quick flat-file upload in Seller Central. (Amazon's interface changes from time to time, so exact labels may vary.)
In Seller Central, go to Add Products via Upload and find the Download spreadsheet section.
Select that template and download it.
On the Template tab, add each sku, then your floor in minimum-seller-allowed-price and your ceiling in maximum-seller-allowed-price — e.g. 0.01 and 1000.
Save the file as a tab-delimited .txt, then upload it under Upload your spreadsheet.
Your template rows will look like this:

If a listing shows a pricing error on Amazon
- ·Why it happens — Amazon flags a pricing error when a SKU has no seller-allowed min/max set, or when its price sits outside those bounds. Amazon usually emails you when a listing is taken down for this.
- ·What it does — the affected listing may be temporarily suppressed until the pricing issue is resolved.
- ·How to fix it — set a generous seller-allowed min/max as above. Amazon's Seller Central help explains how to identify and unblock affected listings.
- ·Auto re-list — once your price falls back within the seller-allowed range, Amazon automatically re-lists items that were suppressed for a pricing error.
