Reading your results

When a scan finishes, the tab turns into a results view with four parts: your headline stats, a winners leaderboard, an ownership map, and a per-state table. Here's how to read each one.

Just ran a scan? Great. If you haven't yet, see Run a per-state scan — or the overview.

Your position at a glance

Three cards summarize the whole scan:

Your position
18 / 45 states won
where you hold the Buy Box
Price spread
$22.90 – $26.40
median $24.50
Concentration
Split
3 sellers · top 44%
  • Your position — how many states you win, out of the states that returned a Buy Box winner. If this channel's seller couldn't be matched, it reads "Not your seller."
  • Price spread — the lowest, highest and median winning price across states — a quick sanity check on your own pricing.
  • Concentration — how contested the Buy Box is: Dominated (one seller takes most states), Split (a few sellers share it), or Fragmented (many different winners).

The Buy Box winners leaderboard

A ranked list of the sellers winning the Buy Box, with their share of states and average price. Click a seller to spotlight the states they win on the map.

Buy Box winners
Your storeYou1840% · $24.99
FastShip LLCFBA2044% · $23.50
ValueDeals716% · $25.10

Each row shows the seller's color (matching the map), a You badge if it's your store, an FBA/FBM label, the number of states won with a share bar, and the average winning price.

The ownership map

A US map colored by winning seller — the same colors as the leaderboard. The header tallies the outcomes:

  • Won — states where a Buy Box winner was found.
  • No buybox — Amazon returned no Buy Box for that state (a valid result).
  • !Failed — the state couldn't be fetched. These are free and can be re-scanned.

Click a state on the map — or a seller in the leaderboard — to spotlight and cross-reference.

The per-state table

The full breakdown, one row per state, sorted alphabetically:

  • 2Ships from & Fulfillment — where it ships from, and FBA vs FBM.
  • 3Offers — how many offers were competing in that state.
  • 4Seller link — open the winning seller on Amazon.

Frequently asked

What does "No Buy Box" mean?
Amazon showed no Buy Box winner in that state — a valid result (for example, when no offer is Buy-Box-eligible there). It's different from a failed state, which simply couldn't be fetched.
Why does it say "Not your seller"?
The results are matched against this sales channel's Amazon seller id. If that id couldn't be matched to any winner, the panel can't tell which states are "yours" — it still shows every winner, just without the You highlight.
Some states failed — what now?
Failed states are usually transient and cost nothing. Just run another scan on those states.
What do Dominated / Split / Fragmented mean?
Dominated — one seller wins the large majority of states. Split — a small handful of sellers share them. Fragmented — many different sellers win across the map.
