Strategies: the read tools

Once you've connected an AI assistant to Flashpricer, it can explore your repricing strategies in plain language — list them, inspect any one in full, check what your plan allows, and see a strategy's listings. Here are the four read-only Strategy tools.

All read-only, all scoped to you. None of these tools change anything. They use the Strategies · view permission (one also needs Products · view and Reports · view, noted below) and only ever see your organization's data.

list-strategiesReadstrategies · view

Lists all repricing strategies in your organization.

Ask"What repricing strategies do I have?"
get-strategy-detailsReadstrategies · view

Returns the full configuration of one strategy — all repricing rules, competition settings, min/max config and yo-yo settings.

Needs: a strategyId (strategy_…). Great for understanding a strategy before editing it.
Ask"Show me how my 'Aggressive FBA' strategy is configured."
get-strategy-capabilitiesReadstrategies · view

Shows what your organization can do with strategies — allowed marketplaces, regions, targets and strategy types, plus feature availability (yo-yo repricing, algorithmic Buy Box, and more).

When: the assistant checks this before creating or editing a strategy, so it only proposes what your plan allows.
Ask"What kinds of strategies can I create on my plan?"
strategy-listing-infoReadproducts · viewreports · view

Detailed listing info for one strategy — how many items are on it, key stats and daily revenue.

Needs: a strategyId (strategy_…).
Ask"How many items are on this strategy and how's its revenue trending?"

Tips for better answers

  • Just describe it. You never need tool names — say "which strategy is my best seller on?" and the assistant lists, inspects and cross-references for you.
  • Inspect before you edit. Ask "show me this strategy's setup" first; the assistant pulls the full config so you both see exactly what would change.
  • Check what's allowed. "Can I use yo-yo repricing?" runs the capabilities check against your plan.
