Reports & exports: the read tools

Once you've connected an AI assistant to Flashpricer, it can find your CSV exports, hand you a download link, and list your recurring reports — all in plain language. Here are the three read-only Reports tools.

3 read tools Read-onlyNever changes your data

Not connected yet? Start with Connect an AI assistant to Flashpricer (MCP). Want to create or schedule exports? See Reports & exports: the write tools.

i

All read-only, all scoped to you. None of these tools change anything. They use the Reports · view permission and only ever see your organization's data. Exports are kept for 30 days, and download links are short-lived (~60 min) — email delivery isn't used, you retrieve files through these tools.

Find & download exports

list-reportsReadreports · view

Lists your CSV export reports, most recent first — each with its status, row count, the filters used, whether it came from a scheduled report, and whether it's still downloadable.

Options: page · limit (max 100).
Ask"Show me my recent CSV exports."
download-reportReadreports · view

Gets one export by id — its status and, once it's ready, a link to open it in Flashpricer plus a short-lived link to the raw CSV. The assistant can even read the file to summarize it for you.

Needs: a reportId (from list-reports or create-report). If it's still generating, the assistant polls until it's ready. Kept 30 days.
Ask"Download my latest export and summarize what's in it."

Recurring reports

list-scheduled-reportsReadreports · view

Lists your recurring CSV exports — the ones that run automatically on a daily, weekly or monthly cadence.

Shows: name, status (active / paused), period, the filters used, and when each last ran.
Ask"What scheduled reports do I have running?"

Tips for better answers

  • Just describe it. You never need tool names or report ids — say "grab my newest export and tell me the highlights" and the assistant lists, downloads and reads it.
  • Ask it to read the file. The download link is directly fetchable, so the assistant can open the CSV and answer questions about it ("how many items are below min in that export?").
  • Mind the retention. Exports older than 30 days are removed; if a report isn't downloadable, just create a fresh one (see the write tools).
