How to Integrate Inventory Lab with Flashpricer
If you use Inventory Lab to manage your inventory and product costs, you can connect that data to Flashpricer to automatically maintain your Cost, Min Price, and Max Price values.
Flashpricer does not require a direct native integration with Inventory Lab. Instead, you can use an automated export or data workflow to move your Inventory Lab data into one of Flashpricer's supported custom integration methods.
What Data Does Flashpricer Need?
At a minimum, your integration should provide:
- SKU / MSKU – Must match the SKU associated with the product in Flashpricer.
- Cost – Your cost per unit.
Depending on your setup, you can either provide your Min Price and Max Price directly or allow Flashpricer to calculate them based on your cost and configured Min/Max rules.
The goal is to create a workflow similar to:
Inventory Lab → Export/Automation → Google Sheets or Supported Feed → Flashpricer
Option 1: Inventory Lab → Google Sheets → Flashpricer
One of the easiest methods is to automatically send your Inventory Lab inventory data to a Google Sheet and connect that sheet to Flashpricer.
Flashpricer supports custom integrations using Google Sheets.

Your Google Sheet can contain fields such as:

If you are only providing SKU + Cost, Flashpricer can use your configured rules to determine the appropriate Min and Max prices.
Option 2: Automate the Inventory Lab Export with Claude Cowork
If you use Claude Cowork, you may be able to automate the entire Inventory Lab export process without requiring Inventory Lab to provide a dedicated API integration.
Inventory Lab allows you to manually export your inventory data from the Inventory page using: 3-dot menu → Export Inventory Data
The resulting export can contain information such as:
- MSKU
- Cost per unit
- Supplier
- Date purchased
- Other inventory information
Because this information can already be exported manually, a recurring Claude Cowork task can potentially automate the same process on a schedule.
Example Cowork Workflow
A recurring Cowork task could:
Open Inventory Lab Open an already-authenticated Chrome session using a persistent profile that is logged into your Inventory Lab account.
Export Inventory Data Navigate to the Inventory page and select: 3-dot menu → Export Inventory Data
Download the resulting CSV once Inventory Lab finishes generating it.
Clean and Normalize the Data
Prepare the Inventory Lab export for Flashpricer.
For example:
- Match MSKU → SKU
- Remove
$symbols or other formatting from cost values. - Make sure costs are represented as numeric values.
- Verify that the value being sent to Flashpricer represents cost per unit, rather than a total purchase/order cost.
- Remove unnecessary columns if desired.
Update Your Google Sheet
Send the cleaned SKU + Cost data to the Google Sheet connected to Flashpricer. When possible, use the Google Sheets connector/API instead of manually pasting data through the browser. This makes it easier to reliably overwrite existing data or update records based on SKU.
Flashpricer Processes the Updated Data
Flashpricer reads the Google Sheet and updates the corresponding products. Depending on your Flashpricer configuration, the integration can update: Flashpricer can also calculate Min and Max prices based on your imported costs and configured pricing rules.
- Cost
- Min Price
- Max Price
How Often Should Inventory Lab Data Be Updated?
The automation frequency depends on how often your costs change.
For many sellers, running the Inventory Lab export and Google Sheets update once or twice per day should be sufficient.
For example:
8:00 AM: Inventory Lab export → Google Sheet updated → Flashpricer receives new costs
8:00 PM: Inventory Lab export → Google Sheet updated → Flashpricer receives any additional cost changes
This creates an automated workflow without requiring you to manually update product costs inside Flashpricer.
Other Integration Options
You do not have to use Claude Cowork or Google Sheets.
If you can export your Inventory Lab data into another format supported by Flashpricer, you may be able to create a different custom integration.
The important requirement is that Flashpricer receives a reliable identifier—typically SKU/MSKU—along with the applicable Cost, Min Price, and/or Max Price.

Important: Verify Your Cost Data
Before enabling an automated integration across your entire catalog, we strongly recommend testing with a small number of SKUs.
Confirm that:
- Inventory Lab MSKUs match the SKUs in Flashpricer.
- Cost values are per-unit costs.
- Currency symbols and other formatting have been removed.
- Min and Max calculations are producing the expected results.
- The correct products are being updated.
Incorrect Cost, Min Price, or Max Price data can directly affect your repricing behavior, so the integration should be verified before applying it across your full catalog.
Once verified, the workflow can run automatically and keep Flashpricer synchronized with your latest Inventory Lab cost data.
