Integrations in Flashpricer

How integrations work in Flashpricer: sync cost, min/max, MAP, strategy and more from a hosted CSV, FTP file or Google Sheet — auto-refreshed every 30 minutes. Learn the supported fields, the replace behavior, and why an integration cost never overrides a manual or uploaded cost.

Integrations in Flashpricer

Integrations pull your pricing data — costs, min/max, strategies and more — from an external source and keep it in sync automatically. Set up a file once, and Flashpricer refreshes from it every 30 minutes.

Sync from CSV, FTP or Google SheetsRefreshes every 30 min

An integration reads a file you host — a hosted CSV, an FTP file, or a published Google Sheet — matches each row to a listing by SKU, and updates the fields you provide. It's the hands-off way to keep costs and price guardrails current.

What you can sync

Each row is keyed by SKU. Some columns identify or target the row; others set a value on the matching item:

ColumnRoleWhat it does
SKURequiredMatches the row to a listing.
SALES CHANNEL IDSelectorTargets a specific sales channel for the row.
TARGET REGIONSelectorTargets a region (US / CA / MX) for the row.
COSTValueSets the item cost — must be greater than 0 (see precedence below).
MINValueMinimum price. MIN PRICE also accepted.
MAXValueMaximum price. MAX PRICE also accepted.
MAPValueMinimum Advertised Price.
STRATEGY IDValueAssigns a repricing strategy.
FBM SHIPPING COSTValueMerchant shipping cost for FBM listings.
REPRICING ENABLEDValueTurns repricing on/off — yes or no.
B2B MIN PRICEValueAmazon Business (B2B) minimum price.
B2B MAX PRICEValueAmazon Business (B2B) maximum price.

Headers are matched by name, case-insensitive and in any order. A CURRENCY column is accepted as a header but isn't currently applied to items, so leave pricing in your account's currency.

Required: every row needs a SKU, plus at least one recognized column — one of COST, MIN, MAX, MAP, SALES CHANNEL ID, STRATEGY ID or FBM SHIPPING COST.

Where the data comes from

Pick whichever source is easiest to keep updated — they all sync the same way:

There are also partner integrations — SkuVault, Finale Inventory, Linnworks and SellerCloud — under Connect Integration → Partner Integrations.

How updates are applied

All three sources use the same replace model, on the same 30-minute schedule.

  • ·New values replace old ones. Whatever's in the file becomes the value on the matching item.
  • ·A blank cell clears that field. If a column is present but a cell is empty, the existing value is removed. (Leaving a column out entirely leaves that field untouched.)
  • ·Cost of 0 or blank = "no cost". It clears the cost and its calculated min/max bounds — so keep a real cost in every row you want priced.
  • ·Repricing enabled must be yes or no. A blank or invalid value skips that whole row.

Which value wins: cost vs everything else

Cost behaves differently from the other fields — this is the one rule worth remembering:

Cost

Integration cost sits behind your overrides.
Manual edit · Flat-file uploadWins
set on the Products pagebulk upload
▲ used first
Integration (CSV / FTP / Sheet)Fallback
used only if no override
Result: an integration cost only replaces a previous integration cost — never a cost you set manually or via an upload.

Min, Max, MAP, Strategy…

One shared value, updated by any source.
Whichever updated lastWins
IntegrationUploadManual (UI)
Result: integration, upload and in-app edits all write the same field, so the most recent change wins — from any source.

In short: a manual or uploaded cost is safe from integrations. Your min/max (and other fields), on the other hand, are last-writer-wins — so pick one source of truth for those to avoid surprises.

Best practices

  • ·Keep the source current. The file is read every 30 minutes, so it's your live source — update it there.
  • ·Validate before you import. Because blanks remove values, double-check the file so you don't accidentally wipe a cost or min/max.
  • ·One source of truth per field. Especially for min/max, decide whether the integration, uploads, or the UI owns it — mixing them means the last change wins.

Frequently asked

How often does an integration refresh?
Every 30 minutes, automatically. New integrations also run once right after you connect them.
Does an integration cost overwrite a cost I set by hand?
No. A cost you set manually (or via a flat-file upload) is treated as an override that wins over the integration cost. An integration cost only replaces a cost that came from a previous integration file.
What are the required columns?
SKU, plus at least one recognized value column (cost, min, max, MAP, sales channel ID, strategy ID, or FBM shipping cost).
What happens if I leave a cell blank?
If the column is present, a blank cell clears that field on the item. To leave a field untouched, remove its column entirely. A blank or 0 cost is treated as "no cost" and also clears the calculated min/max.
