Walmart Funded Savings

Sometimes Walmart shows a customer a price below the minimum Flashpricer pushed. One common reason is Walmart Funded Savings — Walmart discounting the shopper's price out of its own pocket. Your payout still reflects the price you pushed.

With Walmart Funded Savings, Walmart honors the price you set but offers the shopper a discount itself — by reducing your selling fee, adding savings, or a mix of both. So the price on Walmart.com can sit below your Flashpricer minimum, while what you're paid on stays at your pushed price.

Even though Walmart displays and sells at $24.90, your sale is settled at your pushed $27.97 — Walmart covers the difference.

How to confirm it's Funded Savings

Unlike Walmart's Commission Adjustment Program (CAP), Funded Savings isn't flagged with a badge inside Flashpricer — you confirm it in Seller Center:

Check Funded Savings on the SKU

Log in to Walmart Seller Center, open the Items page, and check whether Walmart Funded Savings is enabled for the SKU.

Or set the price and compare

Set the item's price to your Flashpricer minimum. If Walmart.com still shows a lower price than the one you just set, Walmart is funding the savings.

Your net profit is protected. The discount is Walmart's, not yours — you'll receive the net profit you'd have earned at the price Flashpricer pushed.

Check the actual sale price & payout

The real sale price and net profit become visible once a tracking number is added in Seller Center. After the item ships:

Open Payments

In Seller Center, go to the Payments section.

Search by PO number

Enter the order's PO number — or open Search transactions directly — for a full breakdown of sale price, fees and net profit.

The other cause: CAP

Funded Savings isn't the only reason a Walmart price can dip below your minimum — the Commission Adjustment Program (CAP) does the same thing, and CAP items are flagged in Flashpricer (with a CAP Enabled badge). For the full picture of both causes, see Walmart Minimum Price Discrepancy.

Frequently asked

Am I losing money on these sales?
No. Walmart funds the discount itself. Your payout is based on the price Flashpricer pushed, not the lower price the shopper sees.
Why isn't there a "Funded Savings" badge in Flashpricer?
Funded Savings is managed entirely on Walmart's side, so it isn't flagged in Flashpricer. Confirm it in Seller Center as described above. (CAP, by contrast, does show a badge.)
How do I verify my earnings?
Once the order ships and has a tracking number, use Seller Center → Payments → search by PO number to see the actual sale price, fees and net profit.
Your pricing is working as intended

A Walmart price below your minimum from Funded Savings is Walmart's own discount — your payout is protected. Questions? Email success@flashpricer.com.
