Advanced Insights
A tour of Flashpricer's Advanced Insights dashboard — the per-item Overview, Repricing Events and Orders tabs (plus Advertising Metrics and Buybox by state), with every chart, event detail and order-level table explained.
Advanced Insights is the deep-dive dashboard behind any listing: how it repriced, what sold, what it earned, and how it moved against the competition — organized into tabs so you can go from the big picture to a single order.
Opening Advanced Insights
On the Products page, click the chart icon in a SKU's Listing column to open its Advanced Insights dashboard. Across the top you'll find its tabs:
Overview, Repricing Events and Orders are always available. Advertising Metrics appears for Walmart US items (see Connect Walmart Ads), and Buybox by state for Amazon US items.
Overview tab
A high-level snapshot of the item, its pricing and its performance.
Product card
At the top, a Product card confirms which item you're looking at:
- ·Image, SKU, Description (full product name), and the marketplace item ID — labeled ASIN on Amazon or ITEM ID on Walmart.
- ·Strategy — the pricing strategy currently applied to the SKU.
- ·BSR — the item's Best Sellers Rank and category (or
N/A). On Amazon, a separate BSR chart lets you switch the trend window between 30 / 90 / 365 days.
Last 7 days repricing history
A line chart of your price, the competition, your min/max, orders and Buy Box time over the last week — covered in detail in Pricing History.
Orders and revenue charts
- ·Sales & Profit Distribution by Price — plots Orders Count, Units Sold, Revenue and Profit against each item price point, so you can find the price that best balances volume and margin.
- ·Revenue & Profit Distribution by Day — daily bars; hover for Revenue, Fees, COGS, Profit and Units sold — to spot your best days and any unusual drops.
- ·Sales Seasonality Analysis: Heat Map — a calendar heatmap you can switch between Unit(s) Sold, Order(s) Count, Revenue, Profit or All, with a year toggle (the last few years) to spot seasonal patterns.
Repricing Events tab
A full log of every price change — when, why, and how it stacked up against competitors.
- ·Event timeline — each event shows the pushed price, a timestamp, and the reason for the change (e.g. "Item cost updated").
- ·Why this price — a step-by-step of the decision the repricer made.
- ·Your strategy — the strategy, rule applied, tracking, and your min/max at that moment.
- ·The market at that moment — the targeted competitor plus the lowest price, Buy Box price, lowest merchant/marketplace-fulfilled offers, and total number of offers.
- ·Price compared to competition — your pushed price alongside other sellers (price, Buy Box winner, in-stock, shipping, fulfilled-by, seller).
- ·Pricing details (price, profit, fees) — a collapsible panel with previous vs pushed values for price, min, max, shipping and cost, plus profit estimates (estimated profit, and at your min and max).
Use this tab to trace exactly when and why a price moved — perfect for confirming your strategy is behaving as intended.
Orders tab
The same distribution charts as Overview, tied to order-level data — plus:
- ·Order summary — days with orders, average daily profit, and total units sold in the selected range.
- ·Order details table — every order, row by row:
| Order ID | Quantity | Unit Price | Total | Estimated Cost | Estimated Profit | Fulfillment | Status | Date (PST) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 112-4455-6677 | 2 | $25.90 | $51.80 | $16.00 | $11.20 | FBA | Confirmed | 07/12/2026 14:03 |
| 112-9988-7766 | 1 | $25.90 | $25.90 | $8.00 | $5.60 | FBM | Cancelled | 07/11/2026 09:41 |
The table also shows VAT (when tax applies) and a Source column for Amazon Business vs consumer (B2B/B2C) orders. Statuses are Confirmed or Cancelled.
Filtering by date
Overview and Orders share a date control — switch between Filter by date and Filter by date range, and pick a day or a custom span (it defaults to the last 30 days). Narrow to Prime Day, Black Friday or a campaign window to read performance in context. (The Advertising Metrics and BSR views have their own date windows.)
Best practices
- ·Start in Overview to spot broad trends.
- ·Check Repricing Events to confirm your strategy logic.
- ·Drill into Orders for SKU-level profit clarity.
- ·Combine the Seasonality heatmap with Sales by Price to plan pricing for upcoming high-demand periods.
